Another Storm System – Then Dramatically Cooler – Tuesday Video

Good Morning!  Great day between storms systems today. But, the next storm is looming.  SPC has put parts of Alabama in a severe weather risk again for the next storm. This mid/late week storm could bring 1-2” of rain to many of us, before it turns sharply cooler.  A dramatic change is on the way, and I’ll walk you through the details, and a look ahead to a storm-free weekend.  Sit back with your toast and coffee this morning.  This is your Tuesday morning personal weather briefing.

A Calm Nice Day today, followed by a Mid-week storm system, then a dramatic cool-down.

Storm Prediction center again has parts of the state in a Marginal Severe Risk in the overnight hours Wednesday and into Thursday.

Dramatically cooler air plunging southward from Canada will engulf the state behind the storm system. Look at the sharp trough at 20,000 feet by late week.

The Euro model catches much of the drama.  We could see 1-2″ of rain with the storm system.  Then much cooler.  Friday’s highs may not make it out of the 60’s.  Saturday and Sunday morning could be in the upper 40’s.
