Rain Prospects Improving – THURSDAY Video

Good Morning!  Good news.  Our prospects for rain continue to get better over the next five days.  An upper level disturbance will set the stage.  The storms will still be random, but there will be more to go around.  On this video, I’ll show you Future Radar, and I have adjusted the rain chances through the weekend.  Which days have the best chances?  Plus, we’re still tracking two systems in the tropics.  Future tropical storm Chantal could have implications for the Southeastern United States in a few days.

The rain prospects are improving over the next few days, thanks to an upper air disturbance.

With an upper Low located near the Gulf coast, the better than normal rain chances will continue Friday through Monday.

The odds of your yard getting wet are getting better next few days through Monday.

There will be more storms roaming around than normal down on the coast this weekend.

Invest 95-L has been downgraded as it approaches the Bahamas.  But, Invest 96-L in the tropical Atlantic could become a depression this weekend and perhaps, eventually, Tropical Storm Chantal.

The track of 96-L  (Future Chantal)  takes the system to the Bahamas late next week.  Then, what?  Will it curve into the Atlantic?  Maybe….
