Storms Will Thin out This Week –MONDAY Video

Good morning!  Our better than normal rain chances continue today. But, this is the week that storms will start to thin out and we’ll edge back closer to a typical summer forecast.  Thousands of kids head back to school this week.  Will they be dodging rain drops?  I’ll update you on our evolving rain chance.

That upper level trough that brought drenching weekend rains to many towns is still in place today.  Better than normal chance for one more day today.

Doppler Radar weekend rainfall estimate map is very impressive.  MANY TOWNS  got some good rain.

Showers start to thin out to a more typical summertime pattern this week with spotty “hit or miss” afternoon storms.

Invest 96-L is dead.  No tropical systems to track next few days.
